Frequent eruptions from the nearby Fuego volcano enrich the coarse, sandy soils with minerals. Additionally, temperate Pacific Ocean breezes and distinct seasons enable the coffee to be sun-dried.

This particular coffee hails from Finca La Pampa, which is operated by the Perez family for the past three generations (over 80 years). This innovative farms has meticulously improved upon decades of farming practices to produce more sustainable and high-quality coffee varieties.

Cafe Suavecito has partnered with El Conecte Coffee, a family ownded small business that has established deep ties in Guatemala and the Acatenango region.
